The View from The Shard uses floors 68, 69 and 72, including an open-air sky deck. Its tickets are dated and timed for arrival; the building also contains other destinations that should not be confused with the viewing-gallery experience.
Choose the Correct Arrival and Return
Copy The View from The Shard from the ticket when that is the booked activity. A restaurant or hotel booking in the building needs its own entrance instructions, and a leisurely visit upstairs should not be treated as a fixed finish time for the cab.
Turning the Visit Into a Taxi Enquiry
For a taxi or minicab enquiry involving The Shard, keep the attraction booking and the road journey together: give the date, party size and any entrance instructions supplied by the venue. An admission slot is the time you need to reach the attraction, so discuss the proposed departure with the operator after allowing for the final walk and entry procedure.
